Mary´s dad: Ok, The Washington Post says “Weeks after the Feb. 27 earthquake hit Chile, a blackout affected millions of residents Sunday”
Mary: Really! I don´t believe!
Mary´s dad: Yes, It´s incredible. It says the country is trying to recover from the 8.8-magnitude earthquake that rocked the country last month and caused a tsunami that damaged the country's coastal region and put other countries throughout the Pacific on alert.
Mary: Are there survivors?
Mary´s dad: Yes, the earthquake survivors told of being flung around buildings in the dark as the temblor struck at 3:34 a.m. And Paul Caruso, a geophysicist with the U.S. Geological Survey said, "The people in Chile have lots of experience with earthquakes. They've done an excellent job of preparing,”
Mary: That’s ok and I think that it´s important that the people have prepared about what to do when there is an emergency. Well, Dad. It´s too late! I have to go to business meeting .Bye. I´ll see you later.
